Welcome to the Welkin Sphere Project
This wiki is the home of the Welkin Sphere Project. The Welkin Sphere Project is a design document for a science fiction world along the lines of the Ringworld or a Dyson Sphere. The volume of this world is a bit greater than that of Jupiter. It is an artificial environment that is wholly enclosed by a impenetrable shell and filled with air at close to normal sea level pressure.
This world is intended to be used as a background for SF stories or role playing games.
It is freely available for use under the terms of the GNU FDL.

We have an intensive effort in place to create enough Welkin Sphere background information to start using the world for role playing.
